Turtle Cake  This is perfect for picnics and summer events. 1 German Chocolate Cake mix 1-14 oz bag of caramels ½ cup evaporated milk 2 cups chopped pecans ¾ cup butter 1 cup chocolate chips Prepare cake mix per package directions. Pour ½ the batter into a greased  9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, melt caramels with evaporated milk and butter over low heat. Pour  over partially baked cake. Sprinkle nuts and chips over caramel topping.  Pour remaining batter over all and finish baking 20 to 25 minutes.
